Seminar / Meeting rooms

You may be asked to attend a meeting in any one of a bewildering array of rooms. A current (2024) list of where each is located is provided here.

Staff Restaurants & Cafes

“The Vu” on Level 5 Gate 23, off the clinical corridor.

​

Open 7am-7:30pm for hot meals, snacks, jacket potatoes, fresh deli and salad bar. The wraps are excellent.

​

Roof terrace with fabulous views over north Somerset.

​

Vu Coffee Shop is open 8am – 7pm - run by friendly baristas who produce excellent coffee, and keenly priced with a generous loyalty card system.

Willow Coffee Shop 
•    Located near CDS by the willow tree on Donal Early Way.
•    Serves hot drinks, sandwiches, baguettes, jacket potatoes and toasties 
•    Discounted prices for NBT staff
•    Useful for staff working in CDS, Gynae and POAC

Doctors' Mess

Level 4, gate 39, with 8 on call rooms, lounge, kitchen and computers.

Bike sheds

Access to the bike sheds can be requested at Security - they will add access to this area to your Trust ID card.  The bike lock-up at ground level in the the Brunel multistorey carpark is probably the most secure. It contains changing rooms with lockers, shower facilities, hairdryers and a drying area for clothes.

Changing rooms

There are changing rooms with lockers on Level 2 & 3. Keys can be obtained from the Anaesthetic secretaries. There are also changing rooms available on Level 0 with lockers close to the bike shed and car park entrances.
